Surfrider MA is thrilled to announce that we have our first Ocean Friendly Restaurant in Salem, MA - Deacon Giles Distillery - the Speakeasy Lab. Deacon Giles is also the first distillery and cocktail bar in Massachusetts to register as an Ocean Friendy Restaurant. We are so excited to welcome them to Surfrider Massachusetts.
Deacon Giles offers "curated cocktails and a spirited atmosphere. Since it's inception on Repeal Day - Dec 5th 2016, The Speakeasy Lab has been an in-house bar and laboratory for crafting unique cocktails centered around the distillery's spirits. The bar space, The Speakeasy Lab, features a lounge-like atmosphere with bartenders front-and-center, measuring, mixing and pouring some of the finest concoctions on the north shore. The Lounge is Deacon Giles' extra space, open to accommodate the need for more seating, events, and performances. Dim lighting, open space, and serious tropical vibes provide a low-key atmosphere for enjoying cocktails with friends."
The team offers an awesome event lineup, complete with concerts, live music featuring local artists, karaoke and comedy nights, and more.
