Meet local surfers – sip a cocktail – eat yummy $1.50 oysters!
Bring family/friends – surfers and land lovers – all are welcome!
Co-hosted by the Surfrider Foundation Mass Chapter and CETO – a great opportunity to learn all about the great stuff happening in 2019.
Come join us!
Snowrider is Surfrider Foundation MA’s annual winter environmental-awareness event. The message we communicate is what starts up here (mountain pollution & litter) ends up down there (in the ocean). Pollution left in the snow in the hills, if not cleaned up, will eventually make its way downstream to the rivers and storm drains, and eventually the ocean, via snowmelt, runoff, and spring rains.
We welcome volunteers who want to help out! Most volunteers table for a shift of approximately one hour and can then spend the rest of the day snowboarding or skiing! Please get in touch with John Trumbull or our Chapter Secretary Jess if you’d like to join.
Join us for our monthly chapter meeting to learn more about volunteer opportunities and the progress of our ongoing programs and campaigns!
If you’re interested in finding ways to help protect the ocean beyond making the right personal choices, come attend this informal meeting where we will discuss our Chapter’s plans to advocate for law and policy changes at both the state and local levels.
We’ll be making plans for what we want to accomplish in the rapidly approaching fall town meeting season in Mass, as well as the start of the new legislative session in January. This is a great opportunity to share your new ideas and also get involved with initiatives that are already in the works.
People of experience all levels and skills are warmly welcomed!
If you’d like to get involved but can’t make this meeting, please get in touch with Alex, the Chapter Campaigns Coordinator.
Save the date! Either come to see us or just come to enjoy some delicious food and drink with friends and family at Flatbread Company in Somerville’s Davis Square. Retro bowling also available onsite with Sacco Bowl Haven!
Whether taking out or dining in, a portion of every flatbread sold this evening will go directly towards benefiting the Surfrider Massachusetts Chapter!
