The Surfrider Massachusetts Chapter’s October Beach Cleanup brings us to Revere Beach, the oldest public beach in the United States. Come find the Surfrider table near the intersection of Beach Street and Revere Beach Boulevard, near Revere Beach Station on the MBTA Blue Line. Help clean up this very deserving urban beach and spread the word about marine debris!

Remember to bring your reusable water bottle and gear if you fancy going for a swim afterwards. Otherwise, all gloves, buckets, and other tools for the cleanup will be provided.

This cleanup will also be a great opportunity to learn more about our chapter’s ongoing campaigns to support statewide and local bans on single-use plastic bags, one of the most common, damaging, and easily preventable forms of plastic pollution. These measures are gaining traction across Massachusetts, and we need your help to keep things moving forward! If you’d like more info or want to get involved, please contact Mike and Alex.
