Our friends and fellow ocean protectors at Orvel are leading up a beach cleanup and trash sort at Revere Beach.

As you may know, this is a well-deserving urban beach that can always use some love. Even better, data from this cleanup will be tabulated and included as part of CoastSweep, an initiative of the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management, and the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup.

All necessary gear will be provided by CoastSweep and Surfrider. Just bring your own personal reusable water bottle and sunscreen (if it looks necessary).

The event location is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute cycle north of the Wonderland Station at the end of the MBTA Blue Line. There is also parking available on nearby Revere Beach Blvd.
