Winter Beach Cleanup – Revere Beach

<div class="ai1ec-event-avatar alignleft timely"><img src="https://massachusetts.surfrider.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Winter_surfing-300x202.jpg" width="300" height="202" /></div><section class=""> <div class="container"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-xs-12 col-md-8 col-md-offset-2">Because there is no excuse for not being on the beach, the Surfrider Foundation Massachusetts Chapter is hosting a winter beach cleanup at Revere Beach! We will meet by the Revere Beach Pavilions near the Revere Beach Station on the MBTA Blue Line. Look out for the Surfrider flag! You can also look for the segment of Revere Beach Boulevard between Shirley Ave and Beach Ave.</p> <p><em><strong>(Although if the weather is truly miserable and/or unsafe, we’ll retreat slightly to our backup date of March 9, 2019.)</strong></em></p> <p>As always, we are going to collect data on the trash that we find, with a particular eye towards seeing how the plastic debris on the winter beach is different from what we find in the summer.
