DESCRIPTION:Snowrider is Surfrider Foundation MA’s annual winter environmen
tal-awareness event. The message we communicate is what starts up here (m
ountain pollution & litter) ends up down there (in the ocean). Pollution
left in the snow in the hills\, if not cleaned up\, will eventually make
its way downstream to the rivers and storm drains\, and eventually the oce
an\, via snowmelt\, runoff\, and spring rains.\nWe welcome volunteers who
want to help out! Most volunteers table for a shift of approximately one
hour and can then spend the rest of the day snowboarding or skiing! Please
get in touch with John Trumbull or our Chapter Secretary Jess if you’d li
 ke to join.
