S.T.O.K.E.E. 2011Sunday August 21st from 11am-3pmWe’re excited to announce that this year’s S.T.O.K.E.E event with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters will be held on Sunday August 21st from 11am-3pm. We’re looking forward to another great year of teaching the kids about environmentalism and how to Hang Ten! Helping these kids, many of whom rarely get to the beach, score their first aquatic experience on a surf board is an incredibly rewarding experience and we encourage you to join in on the fun – all you need to bring is your passion for surfing and clean oceans (and maybe a wetsuit)!! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Trevor Failor at tfailor@yahoo.com or at 617 429 6932. Otherwise we hope to see you there! Location: Old Coast Guard Station at Short Beach in Nahant (past Long Beach) |
